I’ve been captivated by fiction ever since I discovered there was a world beyond the assigned schoolbooks—a world brimming with adventure, romance, and intrigue. There’s something magical about being whisked away from reality, journeying into a thrilling future, unraveling the threads of a murder mystery, or getting lost in the heart of a contemporary romance.

 

Storytelling has always been a part of me—woven into my thoughts and dreams. But it wasn’t until later in life that I found the courage to bring those stories to life on paper. While I adore our complex and beautiful world, even with its imperfections, my passion has led me to craft contemporary romantic suspense stories that reflect the times we live in. Recently, I stepped into uncharted territory, trying my hand at a futuristic romantic suspense. It was exhilarating to explore something so different, and now I wait with bated breath to see where this new venture might lead.

 

I’m a Texan through and through, though you won’t often catch me in cowboy boots or a Stetson. My journey began at the University of Houston, where I earned a BA in Computer Information Systems. From there, I had the privilege of working for a NASA contractor, spending unforgettable years installing and testing software in the control center. Afterward, I dabbled in contracting—a whirlwind experience—before landing a position at Enron. You can probably guess how that chapter ended, so I’ll spare you the details.

 

But don’t feel sorry for me! When one door closed, another opened. I’ve spent the last twenty-plus years in education, which is soon ending in retirement. That final twist in my journey will allow me to focus on what truly matters: spending quality time with my family and friends, travel and diving headfirst into my passion for writing.
